1. Facial Peels
The Spot peel is suitable for all skin types including Asian and black skin. A highly effective treatment for pigmentation problems. Used in combination with the Milk peel (50% Gylcolic), this targets more stubborn pigmentation using ingredients such as mandelic acid, retinol and salicylic acid. The spot peel is then applied directly to specific problematic areas of the skin to treat:
- Pigmentation spots
- Pregnancy dark spots
- Other pigmentation
There is relatively little down time with this treatment which makes it an excellent choice. We recommend two peels for maximum results. (Please see the Peels section for more information)

- What can I expect after skin peel treatment?
Your skin may look a little pink with slight swelling. This should completely disappear within 24 hours. Following your treatment, you should moisturise the skin, which will reveal a smoother, new layer of skin with improved texture and tone. It is important to avoid the sun for around four weeks.
- What is a skin peel?
A peel is an exfoliation stimulated by a chemical solution. It is a safe and common practice. Dermaceutic has been working with dermatologists for several decades and has extensive experience in this area.
- What is the benefit of a skin peel?
A peel in no way alters the shape of your face. It is an entirely natural and effective procedure performed by a professional. It is discreet, so those around you will find you radiant without knowing why!
- What happens during a session for a skin peel?
A session generally lasts 15 minutes and is made up of several steps: cleansing of the area to be treated, application of the peel and finally, only in certain cases, neutralisation. For most peels, you need to do at least 4 sessions a few weeks apart.
- What are the after effects of skin peels?
A few hours after the session, a slight redness to a sunburn effect will appear, depending on the type of treatment you have received.
- Are skin peels painful?
No, during the application of the peeling agent, you will feel tingling or a light feeling of heat, then everything will disappear in a few minutes or hours (with the speed depending on the strength of the peel).
- What safety precautions should I take when having a skin peel?
Tell us if you are pregnant, have had any allergic reactions, or are undergoing any beauty (hair removal, tanning, microdermabrasion) or medical treatment. You must be sure to protect yourself from the sun for at least a month after treatment.
